🚀 Context
A tech company in the travel / e-commerce sector, known for its 100% "home-made" approach, is looking to strengthen its platform team. Everything is developed in-house: CMS, APIs, reservation platform, B2B purchase tunnels.
The IT department (10 people) is made up of devotees(back, front, Java, .NET, AI...) who build useful products, close to the business, with freedom of initiative and concrete impact.
To support the ramp-up on critical internal tools, the team is recruiting an experienced .NET developer, capable of taking over a wide technical scope and pushing their own projects.
🎯 Role & Missions
You'll be working in tandem with the historical dev, who built most of the internal tools.
Your mission: take over part of his scope, carry out your own projects, and develop the stack.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and upgrade internal business tools (CMS, B2B platforms, APIs, PWAs)
- Ensure code maintenance and quality in a highly responsible environment (every bug = lost sales)
- Be in direct contact with the business, without an intermediary PO (read specs, understand usage).
- Participate in the technical migration to .NET Core
- Initiate or lead structuring projects: CI/CD, APM, observability, front-end modernization
✅ Profile Wanted
- 4 to 10 years' experience in .NET development (Framework and/or Core)
- Ability to understand a complex business (travel industry) and translate needs into concrete solutions
- At ease in craft environments, where not everything is industrialized (and where you can become one)
- Autonomous, structured, inquisitive, able to seek out information from the business side
- Good interpersonal skills, sense of initiative, don't need a PO to get ahead
- Bonus +: e-commerce, airline, or B2B platform experience
🛠️ Stack Technique
- Backend: .NET Framework 4.8 → .NET Core, SQL Server
- Frontend: JQuery / JSP, can open to React, Vue, Next.js
- Infra: AWS (VMs, no managed cloud)
- To come / to be structured: CI/CD, APM, monitoring, UI modernization
- Documentation in English, working environment in French
💼 Terms & Conditions
- Contract: CDI
- Location: Paris (classroom 4 days/week)
- Teleworking: possible 1 day/week
- Start date: ASAP or within 3 months
- Compensation: up to €85k package depending on profile
