🎯 Role & Missions

As a Backend Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails , you will play a key role in the design, evolution and reliability of industrial data pipelines. You will actively contribute to scalability and application performance in a high-demand context.
‍

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end applications with Ruby on Rails
• Process, structure and transform data flows collected from sensors and automatons
• Implement and document high-performance REST APIs , consumed by the front end and industrial systems
• Work closely with the Product, Embedded and Data teams
• Participate in the continuous improvement of development, testing and deployment tools

🧪 Technical Environment

• Language & Framework : Ruby, Ruby on Rails
• Database : PostgreSQL
• API : REST (JSON API)
• Infrastructure & Ops : Docker, GitHub Actions, Sidekiq, Redis
• Tests : RSpec, FactoryBot
• Other tools : Rollbar, Datadog, Heroku / AWS (depending on modules), CI/CD

🧬 Profile Wanted

• Experience : Minimum 5 years in back-end development with Ruby/RoR
• Strong knowledge of the Rails + PostgreSQL + RESTful API environment
• Appetite for connected environments, real-time flow management and critical systems
• Experience working with stacks mixing software + hardware (bonus)
• Rigor, autonomy, spirit of initiative
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (embedded, product, ops, etc.)

💼 Conditions & Contract

• Type of contract: CDI
• Salary : €80k gross per year , depending on profile
• Location : Paris or Full Remote
• Telework :
  • If based in Île-de-France: 2 to 3 days/week on site
  • If outside the Paris region: 100% teleworking possible
