🚀 Context
A profitable European fintech scale-up (150–200 employees), publisher of several SaaS solutions and B2B platforms, is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology strategy at group level.
Structured around several Business Units, the organization is experiencing strong growth and addresses critical issues of performance, security, scalability and structuring of software engineering.
🎯 Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Management and a member of the Management Committee , you will manage the entire technical scope of the company with the support of 9 technical managers and a cross-functional Project Director.
Your strategic & operational missions:
- Define and execute the medium and long-term technological vision in relation to product and business issues
- Support structuring technical choices , arbitrate, deploy and advance the tech organization
- Structure a distributed organization (40+ engineers) with a high level of requirement, autonomy and efficiency
- Carry out an “AI-driven” technological approach , with measurable gains in agility, productivity, and robustness
- Monitor cloud infrastructures (multi-cloud), security , product availability
- Define technical performance, delivery and reliability KPIs
- Actively contribute to technical M&A files (due diligence, post-acquisition integrations)
🧬 Profile Wanted
- Experience as CTO or VP Engineering in a SaaS or high-stakes platform context (15+ engineers)
- Strong strategic & operational leadership in distributed technical organizations
- Strong product culture and business impact , with the ability to decide quickly and bring teams on board
- Demanding technical background, able to challenge architectures and enter the code if necessary
- Solid understanding of scalability issues, cloud security, technical debt
- Proven experience in technical organization redesign or convergence projects
- Professional English (written & oral) required
