• There are 30 consultants today, compared with 17 a year ago: the workforce has doubled in twelve months
• A Data & AI practice to be built, led directly by the partners
• Consultants work from the firm's offices, not on-site at the client's location
• A deliberately small team size: 3 to 4 people per manager, ensuring that supervision is truly effective

🎯 The Role

A three-pronged role: selling, delivering, and growing the team.

• Expand the Data & AI portfolio: identify needs, develop proposals, win projects
• Oversee the delivery of sold projects, from scoping to implementation at the client's site
• Staff the projects you win, including by hiring the consultants who will carry them out
• Manage 3 to 4 consultants: skills development, project oversight, performance evaluations
• Engage with the client at the appropriate level, from the data department to the executive committee

⚠️ What You Need to Know

• The position is as much sales-oriented as it is technical. An excellent data expert who isn't interested in selling won't be able to handle the role.
• You put together your own team: you take on a project, then recruit the people you need to complete it. Nothing is staffed in advance.
• The organization has doubled in size in one year. Not all processes have been documented yet, so you need to be comfortable with that and help establish them.
• In-person work is the norm: 2 days of remote work, no more, and no fully remote work.

🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: 8 to 10 years, including a significant portion at a consulting firm
• Expertise: Data and/or AI, architecture, governance, platforms, use case industrialization
• Sales: Experience in driving revenue, developing proposals, and winning projects
• Management: Having managed a team of consultants over an extended period
• Attitude: comfortable interacting with C-level executives, able to defend a point of view

📌 Prerequisites

• Fluency in French: assignments, sales proposals, and client communications are conducted in French
• Business English: sufficient for reading and communicating—it is not the language of the workplace
• Valid authorization to work in France, with no action required on the part of the employer
• Based in the Île-de-France region: 3 days a week on-site in Paris’s 17th arrondissement. Applications requiring a fully remote position or relocation will not be considered.
