A growing SAP consulting and implementation firm that supports its clients with their business process reengineering (BPR) programs.

• Functional and technical SAP teams: finance, supply chain, maintenance, development
• Building an integration practice: This is the firm's key area of development, with the goal of going beyond the scope of SAP alone
• Partners directly involved in the project and in the hiring process

🎯 The Role

You'll lead the integration/middleware offering: you'll build it, sell it, and deliver it.

• Presenting the offering to clients: pre-sales, needs assessment, proposals, business development
• Act as an architect: choose the right solution for each client (MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, or another option) and produce the corresponding deliverables: architecture document, target, and ADR
• Structuring the Practice: API Governance, Reuse, Standards, and Product Development Roadmap
• Supervise integration consultants: task assignment, technical reviews, and deployment monitoring
• Developing the Firm's Vision for Integration in the Age of AI

⚠️ What You Need to Know

This is not a position for a MuleSoft delivery expert. The firm has already interviewed some very strong technical candidates and rejected them for one simple reason: it is looking for someone capable of defending an architecture to a client, even when MuleSoft isn't the right solution.

There is a real business aspect to this: pre-sales, product development, and the construction of the driving range are part of our daily routine—not just a side project.

🧑‍💻 The stack

• Middleware: MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Studio, Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint MQ, MUnit)
• SAP Ecosystem: SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management on BTP), S/4HANA
• Industrialization: CI/CD, secret management, secure deployments
• Architecture: TOGAF, ArchiMate, or C4. We’re looking for a true methodological framework, not just diagramming tools.

🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: At least 8 years in system integration, with proven experience as an architect working directly with clients
• Middleware expertise: In-depth knowledge of MuleSoft and a solid understanding of SAP Integration Suite or a competing middleware solution
• Architecture: architecture documentation, targets, and ADRs that have already been produced
• Governance: You're familiar with metrics related to reuse, gating, and standards
• Business: Pre-sales or proposal development—already in practice
• Bonus: team management, networking within the integration ecosystem, a well-reasoned perspective on AI in information systems

• Offices in Paris, 50/50 hybrid
• Reports directly to the partners regarding the practice's development
• Start date: ASAP or within 3 months

📌 Prerequisites

• Fluent in French: You present the proposal to French clients, both verbally and in writing, including in architectural documents
• Valid authorization to work in France, with no action required on the part of the employer
• Based in the Île-de-France region: 50/50 hybrid work arrangement in Paris. Applications requiring fully remote work or relocation will not be considered.
