Windows & Virtualization Systems Engineer - TANIUM (M/F) - Expert

CUSTOMER

To strengthen the Windows & Virtualization engineering team in charge of projects and infrastructure support for Windows and VmWare servers on prem and in the Azure cloud.

We are looking for a Windows & Virtualization Systems Engineer specialized in the use of the Tanium tool (M/F).

• The person will need to demonstrate a high degree of autonomy, solid experience, and meticulous attention to detail.
  ‍
• Proven expertise in automation and patching via Tanium is essential. Proven skills with Quest Active Roles, CyberArk, and the Centreon monitoring systemare also required .
  ‍‍
• This position requires in-depth knowledge of VMware virtual infrastructures and physical infrastructures, including the ability to install systems on new HP servers.
  ‍
• Significant experience of on-premise operating environments is essential.

MISSIONS‍

• Participation in the design of ISD infrastructures.
• Complete management of Windows systems from 2003 to 2019.
• Administration of the DFS-N & DFS-R solution on all Filers.
• Design and management of Production and Development solutions.
• Support for Active Directory resource migration.
• Supervision and MCO (Maintenance in Operational Condition) of production systems and infrastructures via Centreon.
• Migration, securing and pooling of system infrastructure environments.
• Business application integration: consulting, integration and systems strategy development.
• Management of geographic server migrations: feasibility study, migration process, support.
• Provision of level 3 support to Production teams for incidents, integration and development

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining the availability of systems and tools on a daily basis,
• Architecture proposals in line with business needs and IS standards,
• Handling and resolution of incidents and problems reported by Level 1,
• Mastery of platform evolution and change strategy,
• Obsolescence management,
• Securing operating systems,
• On-call duty.
• Manage and optimize existing on-premise infrastructure.
• In charge of projects: Run and Delivery
• Ensure system security using tools;
• Collaborate with internal teams to solve infrastructure-related problems
• Oversee the implementation of new functionalities
• Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage incidents, carry out troubleshooting and provide high-level technical support.
• Document infrastructure-related processes, procedures and configurations.
