Expert Linux System Engineer (M/F)

CUSTOMER

In order to strengthen the team, we are looking for an Expert Linux Systems Engineer (M/F).

‍Theposition will take place within the UNX department in charge of Unix / Linux and Kubernetes infrastructures.

PROJECT & TEAM

• Ensure the smooth operation of existing environments,
• Technology watch,
• Ensure the evolution of existing systems,
• Technical assistance for projects.
  ‍

MISSIONS

• Maintaining the availability of systems and tools on a daily basis,
• Architecture proposals in line with business needs and IS standards,
• Handling and resolution of incidents and problems reported by Level 1,
• Mastery of platform evolution and change strategy,
• Obsolescence management,
• Securing operating systems,
• On-call duty.

DELIVERABLES

• Linux operating system/OS maintenance (MCO)
• Migration of operating systems and tools,
• Maintenance of MCO scripts,
• Recommendations and best practice documents,
• Technical Architecture Files.

STACK

• SLES 11.x, SLES 12.x, SLES 15.x
• Operating systems: Solaris 10 and Solaris 11,
• Virtualization: Zone, KVM, Docker
• Languages: Shell, AWK, Perl, PHP, Python
• OpenSVC cluster software
• LDAP, DNS.
• Kubernetes cloud on-prem platform based on : Suse / Rancher / SDS Portworx
