🚀 Context
A fast-growing French scale-up in the education sector, in a structuring phase, is looking for its future Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to steer the technological vision, the integration of AI, and support the next round of fundraising (Series A then Series B).
The current Tech team (12 people) is already solid and committed, and the roadmap is ambitious: platform scalability (desktop + mobile), managerial structuring, advanced AI integration (LLMs, speech-to-text, automation), continuous product improvement and marketplace scalability.
🎯 Role & Missions
As CTO and member of the Executive Committee, you will be responsible for :
- Define and embody the company's technological and AI vision
- Structuring and growing the tech team (from 12 to 20 people)
- Take charge of key recruitments on the dev, product and design sides
- Supporting founders in fund-raising (Series A / Series B)
- Deploy a scalable, resilient architecture to support growth
- Integrate native AI solutions into all operations (product, infra, automation)
- Steering coordination between Tech, Product, Design and Business
✅ Profile Wanted
- 10+ years' experience in the tech industry, including at least 3-4 years as CTO, VP Engineering or Technical Lead
- Practical experience of team structuring and scaling tech organization
- Strong ability to convey a vision, arbitrate technically, and help teams progress
- Strong leadership, recruitment, organization and delivery skills
- Appetence for integrating AI at the heart of the product
- Solid technical training (Epitech, X, Mines, Centrale, Télécom...)
- Professional French and English

- Front-end: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript

- Tools & Methodologies: Scalability, real-time performance, integrated AI
💼 Terms & Conditions
- Contract : Permanent contract
- Remuneration: €120 - €130k gross per annum
- Equity: BSPCE planned (currently being structured)
- Location: Central Paris
- Teleworking: Hybrid (2 to 3 days on site)
- Working language: French + English
- Current team: 12 people (8 devs, 2 designers, 2 product)
