🚀 Context

An international group in the fintech / B2B sector is strengthening its technical architecture team to support the transformation of its strategic platforms, particularly around issues of authentication, integration architecture and urbanization of technical solutions.

In this context, the company is looking for a "hands-on" Solution Architect with a solid development culture (Java ideally), to play a key role in securing, orchestrating and evolving its critical systems.

This role is an ideal springboard to increased architectural responsibilities, without forgoing technical involvement in the field.

🎯 Role & Missions

In the short term, your main mission will involve authentication strategy (OpenID Connect), in support of application migrations.

In the medium term, you will also be involved in distributed integration topics (Kafka, orchestrators, BPM, rules engines...).

Your responsibilities include:

🔐 Authentication & Security API

• Support migration projects to new authentication flows
• Define and document authentication strategy for API platforms
• Actively contribute to the implementation of secure mechanisms: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML
• Participate in code reviews on security and identity issues
• Aligning technical choices with security and scalability requirements

🔄 Integration & Solutions Architecture

• Work on integration projects involving Kafka, orchestrators, rules engines, BPM, etc.
• Contribute to the creation of architecture blueprints usable by local teams
• Help enrich the Group's catalog of solutions, combining technical solutions, documentation, operational models and support

🤝 Cross-functional collaboration

• Work closely with development, security and DevOps teams
• Promoting the adoption of best practices within the Group
• Ensure the link between business, security and technical implementation issues

✅ Profile Wanted

• 5 years' higher education in computer science (engineering school or university), or equivalent
• 4+ years' experience in software development and/or architecture
• Solid technical background, with a strong appetite for security, APIs and integration
• Mastery of the Java ecosystem highly desirable (with a view to diversifying stacks in the face of .NET dominance)
• Knowledge of or strong interest in authentication protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML)
• Curiosity, ability to learn new skills quickly, and to take on new technologies.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate in simple terms and to engage a wide range of stakeholders
• Fluent English required (working language) - French, Spanish or Portuguese a plus
