As part of the development of its management systems, our customer needs to call on an external service provider to provide support, ensure the reliability of applications in the Risk domain and accelerate certain overhaul projects.

Risk management is a strategic activity, as it is for any financial organization: tighter controls, increasingly complex standards (Basel III, Basel IV, ...), or the emergence of new investment rules (SRI socially responsible investment) make it vital for the team to produce the IT enabling:

  • Monitor compliance with all these constraints for all portfolios,
  • Provide fund managers with tracking of indicators associated with their funds,
  • Calculate the performance of these portfolios.

MISSIONS:

The Constraint Monitoring team, within the IT department for Risk Services, is made up of around 30 people.

The team dedicated to the Constraint Server comprises around 10 MOE/Business Analysts and operates in Agile mode.

Our customer has just won several contracts to make their constraint engine and violation tracking generic and deploy it at a third-party institution.

These are strategic projects with ambitious deadlines.


The main mission within a short timeframe consists of:

  • Analysis of customer requests,
  • Contribute to building the product roadmap,
  • Writing specifications with developers,
  • Acceptance of developments,
  • Level 2 customer support.

On the other hand, normal business operations continue:

  • Participation in planning and costing meetings,
  • Organization of recipes with users and direct participation,
  • Production support and monitoring,
  • Participation in the drafting of documentation,
  • Writing release communications,
  • Participation in user training,
  • Collaboration with other IT teams.

The service will be provided within a team of ten people, using AGILE methodology in one or more of the following areas:

  • Creation and administration of rules for pre-post trade checks,
  • Collection of indicators from other teams (risks in particular),
  • Applying the rules,
  • Monitoring of control and violation workflows,
  • Feedback of results to risk/management and customer teams.
  • Travel to customer sites is possible.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Drafting of Jira Tickets for evolution requests,
  • Organization of work sessions with business units and customers,
  • Delivery of the various MVPs according to the schedule defined by the PO or project manager,
  • Processing support requests,
  • Active contribution to improving the quality and security of the platform's applications,
  • Contribution and exchanges on solution design,
  • Active contribution to project documentation,
  • Active participation in various rituals and team life.
