An international company in the fintech & B2B services sector is undertaking a major transformation of its strategic platforms towards a more connected, secure and scalable ecosystem.

In this context, we are looking for an experienced API Solution Architect to steer the global API strategy, promote development standards, and support the convergence of systems around a unified vision, in a domain-driven approach.

The position is cross-functional and exposed, with a strong dimension of evangelism, technical architecture, governance, and collaboration between local teams and headquarters.

🎯 Role & Missions

As anAPI Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:

🌐 API Platforms & Governance

• Actively participate in the modeling, design and implementation of modern APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
• Support field teams in building robust, secure and scalable APIs
• Define and promote Group API standards, while contributing to their continuous improvement
• Working with design authorities to promote platform convergence

🧠 Domain Driven Design & Mutualization

• Act as the SDD referent for functional convergence between projects
• Encourage the pooling of assets between several functional areas
• Supporting teams in adopting the domain-oriented model
• Challenge functional and technical approaches to projects with a reflexive partner posture

📊 Data Mesh & Architecture Data

• Collaborate with head office and data teams to deploy data integration solutions in a Data Mesh logic
• Ensure consistency between API architecture and overall data strategy
• Support data-driven projects with a focus on seamless integration and security
  ‍

✅ Profile Wanted

• 5-year degree in computer science or equivalent (Master's or engineering school)
• 5+ years' experience in technical architecture roles, ideally in financial or B2B SaaS environments
• Strong Dev culture, with the ability to get hands-on with code (Java preferred to balance an existing .NET base)
• Ability to rapidly upgrade skills in new technologies
• Good understanding of security, scalability and API governance issues
• Knowledge of domain-driven design approaches, modern architectures, data solutions
• Cross-functional vision and ability to involve non-technical partners
• Working language: fluent English required; French, Spanish or Portuguese a plus
