The job ofCybersecurity Engineer (M/F)

The Cybersecurity Engineer is in charge of analyzing and processing intrusion threats and defining the action plans necessary to correct or anticipate them.
He/she is the guarantor of the safety and reliability of computer systems within a company.

Thus, his mission is to prevent potential computer attacks by ensuring maximum protection on various computer media.

For example, he is in charge of applications, networks and data.

The missions

• Supervise and administer the Security Operating Center (SOC) solutions in complete confidentiality
• Detect, analyze and qualify incidents, threats and cyber attacks
• Identify their sources, their mechanisms and block their access to existing solutions
• Ensure the analysis of the various computer data
• Guide the technical teams in the corrective or palliative measures to be implemented to secure the network and the IS
• To write adapted security procedures and to raise awareness of network, data and IS security issues
• Ensure their application and usability by all users
• Ensure a permanent watch on current threats and cyber defense
• Document knowledge bases and processing procedures
• Constantly monitor software and hardware vulnerability
• Analyze malware and all data breaches

Technical and relational skills

• Knowledge in the field of information systems security and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS)
• Technical skills in computer science (C++, Javascript...)
• Basic knowledge of software development and scripting languages
• Rigor, anticipation, analytical skills
• Relational skills
• Curiosity
• Good command of English
• Adaptability and team spirit

Unless he develops new areas of expertise related to security, he evolves quite naturally towards managerial functions.
