The job of MOBILE DEVELOPER: IOS / ANDROID / FLUTTER / KOTLIN

The mobile application developer is responsible for the technical realization of an application, based on precise specifications.
He/she calculates and designs computer programs for data processing.

From a set of specifications, the mobile application developer creates an application. Thanks to solid knowledge in mathematics and computer science, he chooses the specific software and codes to build it.

In general, he works in relation with the project manager and a graphic designer. They can work in a specialized firm, in a company or on their own.
Curious, he/she constantly monitors the latest technologies.

Missions

• The mobile application developer designs software for mobiles, smartphones and other tablets. He is both a code pro and a creative.
• From a set of specifications, thedigital application developer designs, adapts or optimizes mobile applications for different media. He/she ensures the technical realization and the computer development, taking into account the different constraints that are imposed on him/her (screen size, language, limited interactivity, customer expectations...).
• Algorithm calculations, tests... he has a solid knowledge of the mobile world, the standards used (W3C, HTML 5, CSS), the programming languages (Objective-C, Swift, Java) and the webservices that he will take care to update regularly to be always up to date on the latest news and trends.
• A good communicator and teacher, he/she must also know how to explain and defend his/her technical choices.
• The mobile application developer can be specialized in one type of OS (Android IOS or Windows) .
• The mobile application developer works in a web agency, a software publisher, an ESN (digital services company), a telephone operator, a startup or directly with a large company that has a department dedicated to this type of development. He is most often associated with a multidisciplinary team (graphic designer, content producer...).
